Given ext4 is open source, is there a Windows extension that allows you to mount ext4 as a native Windows drive?

Much like FUSE allows us to mount drives under MacOS and Linux and have them appear native - does Windows have such facilities for extending the file system explorer?

Alternatively is there an option to use btrfs on Windows?

  • yes, the simplest way is to use [wsl2](https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/wsl/wsl2-mount-disk). There are so many duplicates. Some of them: [How to read ext4 partitions on Windows?](https://superuser.com/q/37512/241386), [How to read btrfs partitions on windows natively?](https://superuser.com/q/1086419/241386). Did you do any research? – phuclv Sep 19 '22 at 06:58
