The most common Pineapples variants are variants of Texas hold'em and Open Faced Chinese Poker.
There are two sub variants of Texas Hold'em poker, called Pineapple and Crazy Pineapple. Each player is dealt three cards, then must discard one of those cards. In Pineapple Hold'em the player discards before the flop. In Crazy pineapple Hold'em the players discard after the flop. Discarding is usually done after the particular round of betting.
