Hello, I am Duncan Bolam, loving life in The Highlands of Scotland, living on the beautiful beaches of Nairn on the Moray Firth. Yet leading a coaching practice and talent strategy consultancy throughout the UK and farther afield. I’m a time-proven ‘Purpose Coach’ and 'People Strategist’ with a near quarter century track record to back me up.

Over the last 25 years, I've distilled precision guidance systems for helping executives, career-changers and younger career-entrants, from all walks, decode their occupational DNA and tune-into their work/life passions. In other words, I melt the semantic fog locking so many people into unfulfilling work. Enduring the anxieties caused by reacting to their journey through life. And not proactively setting course towards their purpose in it.

In parallel, I consult leadership teams in developing dynamic people plans. I am also an author, inventor and connector of people and ideas. Prior to which I worked in retail and leisure management, professional sport and sports coaching. As well as my long-established Career Dovetail Formula and The Purpose Pyramid, I created the field of 'Work Aesthetics'; where I help organisations and individuals contribute 'good' through the creation of “a delight-filled fusion of fabric, function, form and flow".

WHAT I DO: As time-proven Executive, Purpose & Career Coach, Human Capital Consultant, Customer Service Expert and Workshop Facilitator, I coach-consult organisations in aligning their people with their Business Plan. The flip-side of which is my helping, guiding, advising, informing, mentoring, challenging, facilitating, advocating for and coaching workers/freelancers/employees. So they can tune-in to a deep sense of purpose resulting from codifying their occupational DNA and knowing their mission in life - maximising their potential.
