A long time student, both formal and informal, of the history of philosophy. My core interests are in the fields of logic, metaphysics, and ethics as these are discussed in the works of Plato, Aristotle, Seneca, Aquinas, Duns Scotus, Kant, Schelling, Hegel, Kierkegaard, Husserl, Peirce, Heidegger, Wilfrid Sellars, and Robert Brandom. Note that I have a strong aversion to British empiricist, utilitarian, and (post)positivist conceptions of philosophy.
