Seventeen-year-old aspiring film composer hoping to get into college for music composition but not sure I have enough composition experience. I've played piano for twelve years, have a good bit of theory experience, and have very good relative pitch. I don't have perfect pitch, but I am occasionally able to tell exact notes (sometimes I'm a half step off). I have not completed any compositions but I've started over a dozen. The first film score I ever heard apart from its movie was Harry Gregson-Williams' Narnia: The Lion, the Witch, and the Wardrobe when I was ten. Major influences include Hans Zimmer, Brian Tyler, Alan Silvestri, Trevor Rabin, David Arnold, and Patrick Doyle.
