Received a BS degree in Mechanical Engineering from UCD in 1970, then served in the US Army Corps of Engineers as a civil servant from 1971 to 1991, when I retired due to medical disability. My broad experience included design and construction of most everything ranging from residential housing to hospital, R&D, power, ICBM and space shuttle facilities. In other words, I'm a semi-knowledgeable dinosaur :-).
