Filipino-born and of Filipino-Chinese descent, Wesley So (1993-) is a Filipino-American Grandmaster. He transferred from the NCFP (National Chess Federation of the Philippines) to the USCF (United States Chess Federation) in November 2014.

In November 2019, Wesley So became the inaugural World Fischer Random Chess (chess960) Champion by defeating Magnus Carlsen 13½–2½. As of January 2021, Wesley So is the still the World Fischer Random Chess Champion.
