I am recovering an old machine with Ubuntu 14.04 installed, which isn't supported anymore and likes to tell me about it Your Ubuntu release is not supported anymore. .
The system is over 10 years old but actually runs fine.
I wanted to install and configure some package for it (darkice) , but ran into some trouble when trying to install via apt. The specific packages I needed when simply not in the archive [404]. Version above and bellow were there. This was true for more than one package [specifically darkice, alsa-lib, libasound2, ...].
I thought to run a cool apt upgrade, but started getting 404s on everything.
Is this because the versions isn't supported anymore? Is there another place to go look for these pkgs?
Thank you
