I am not sure if i can update the kernel to 6.2 which as far as I know is the only kernel that uses Intel arc GPU out of the box if anyone has advice I would appreciate greatly

    Advice: You have two choices: You can wait for a future release of Ubuntu (like perhaps 23.10) to pick up the hardware compatibility automagically, **-or-** you can invest a solid week learning how to compile, test, and troubleshoot upstream kernels. – user535733 Jan 09 '23 at 23:53
