after installing ubuntu 20.04 on my thinkpad x1 Carbon gen9 i experienced a popping/clicking sound
- before Audio startet playing
- sometimes the popping was periodic,but nearly inaudible
- After resuming from suspend
Point 1. and 2. seem to be fixed with the pulseaudio Solution from Annoying click/popping sound on Ubuntu 20.04 or https://wiki.archlinux.org/title/PulseAudio/Troubleshooting (look for „Pops when starting and stopping playback“)
Sadly the popping sound still occurs on resume. Any ideas how to fix this? I did not experience this behaviour in Windows, so i don‘t think it is a hardware issue.
