let me explain again, i tried installing Signal app from https://signal.org/en/download/# followed instruction but after i executed 2nd command (visit link) it was working but no new line was showed to execute next command to install so i closed terminal then i got some error 3rd line sudo something like that so a user suggested i go to a location and remove 3rd line "sudo apt-get update && sudo apt-get install signal" so i erased it from it using nano . still i coudnt install so i just used "rm /etc/apt/sources.list.d/signal-xenial.list " to remove the problem. Error Image

when i execute "sudo apt-get update" This errors on line 14 and below. Now i don't know what are these errors ? i think i don't have a release files and i've no idea what it is. so can you guys help me understand and resolve?

Hello @alex159 , the image posted does not reference "signal-xenial" seems to be a different repository error. – jpbrain Jun 21 '21 at 04:43
  • As @jpbrain mentioned, the apt problem displayed has nothing to do with removing `/etc/apt/sources.list.d/signal-xenial.list`. the linked douplicate from N0rbert should solve your problem. – Bruni Jun 21 '21 at 13:16
  • i tried @N0rbert s link didnt solve it. – alex159 Jun 22 '21 at 08:47
