Thomas, the future bishop, was educated at Winchester, and was admitted a sizar of Christ's College, Cambridge, on 13 June 1632, 'aged 15.' He graduated B.A. 1685-6 and M.A. in 1689, afterwards taking the degree of D.D. at Trinity College, Dublin | |
