The SoundManager2Button extension allows to embed a SoundManager2 MP3 play button to play a local MP3 file.

Usage

<sm2>Fa_la_la.mp3</sm2>

Note: "File:Fa_la_la.mp3" must exist locally.

Installation

  • Download and place the file(s) in a directory called SoundManager2Button in your extensions/ folder.
  • Add the following code at the bottom of your LocalSettings.php file: 
    require_once "$IP/extensions/SoundManager2Button/SoundManager2Button.php";
$wgFileExtensions[] = 'mp3';
  • Yes Done – Navigate to Special:Version on your wiki to verify that the extension is successfully installed.
