The ExternBib extension allows to cite an external bibtex file.

Installation

  • Download, extract and place the file(s) in a directory called ExternBib in your extensions/ folder.
  • Add the following code at the bottom of your LocalSettings.php file: 
    require_once "$IP/extensions/ExternBib/ExternBib.php";
  • Run the following command to create the externbib.db file:
php extensions/ExternBib/updatedb.php
  • Yes Done – Navigate to Special:Version on your wiki to verify that the extension is successfully installed.
