I'll be taking possession of a brand new town house next month and we'll be doing a deficiency walkthrough to catch any issues before we move in. This is not a home inspection, but our ability to get the builder to fix any deficiencies from the building process. The property has a 2-5-10 warranty.
I'm looking for a comprehensive list of things to check while we do our walkthrough.
Furthermore, I've been in our new town house a few times and have noticed some issues with the paint. For example, poor cut job at the ceiling, not 100% coverage in areas. Is this too petty to bring up?
Some additional context: this is a Parklane development in Metro Vancouver.
