My interest in Computers started in 1998 because of games like Duke Nukem! From there my interest turned into a journey to learn more. I have my A+ N+ MCSE 2000 MCP MCTS. I'm working on my MCSE 2012 Server Infrastructure

I discovered Ubuntu version 4.10 from a PC Format magazine and have been hooked on GNU/Linux ever since. I always promote Open Source and GNU/Linux where I can, and I enjoy the reaction from people when they discover a new and alternative world of computing.

I am an IT Manager for a large enterprise. Like most corporates we rely heavily on Microsoft Windows. My dream is to see Ubuntu on every desktop throughout our call centre one day.

I don't want to say that I'm a distro hopper (thanks Oracle Virtual Box), but with so much choice out there, it is difficult to settle. However I somehow always land up going back to Ubuntu. My favourite Ubuntu version is Ubuntu 12.04 LTS.

The next step...Linux qualifications like LPIC-01 LPIC-02 LPIC-03. And so the journey continues.
